Frequently asked questions

  • I bought Premium but it isn't active.
Open the app, go to Settings → Account, tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used at purchase. If the issue persists, email us your receipt and we'll fix it within 24 hours.
  • Translation is slow or fails.
Check your internet connection for cloud engines. For Apple on-device engines, make sure the language pack is downloaded in iOS Settings → General → Language & Region → Translation Languages.
  • Voice translation doesn't recognize my speech.
Speak clearly in a quiet environment. Confirm your microphone permission is enabled in iOS Settings → AI Translate → Microphone. Some languages may require a Premium cloud engine.
  • Photo translation can't read my image.
Ensure the text in the photo is in focus, well-lit, and roughly horizontal. For handwritten or low-contrast text, switch to the enhanced Premium engine under Settings → Engines.
  • How do I change the app language?
Settings → Language → pick your preferred language. The app currently supports English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese as of v1.0.
  • Can I export my translation history?
History → tap Edit → select translations → tap Export. Choose CSV, JSON, or plain text. The file is saved to your Files app.
  • Will you add my language?
Languages are added based on demand and engine support. Tell us which language you need at the email above.
  • Do you have a web or desktop version?
Not yet. iPhone is shipping first, Android is in beta, and a web version may follow.
  • I want a refund.
Refunds are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. Visit apple.com/legal/itunes/ or support.google.com/googleplay to request a refund.
  • How do I delete my account and all data?
See the Delete Account page — there's a one-tap in-app flow plus a manual email request option.
